The beach is located approximately 20 kms (12 miles) north of Skidegate. You can stop at the Coop grocery store in Skidegate and pick up picnic supplies and proceed to the beach for a day of pure enjoyment!Photo Credit: Tourism BC
The beach is marked by a carved Bear. You can park in this parking lot and make your way down to the beach via a path or take the next pull-out to the main picnic area complete with a shelter and outhouses.

Youth enjoy climbing the ‘fort’ via the spiral staircase. This lookout overlooks the ocean and has for many years been the ‘top choice’ of birthday parties. Youthful imaginations have turned the lookout into a ‘Ship at Sea’, a ‘Pirate Ship’ and many other dreams.
